Thundercats victorious once again!!

On a windy and rainy Saturday night in Chula Vista, California the Duo Sports Thundercats were victorious on a round robin tournament over the Beach Cities All - Americans 17-0 and the New York Bandits 7-0.

In the opening game against the All-Americans Thundercats Kicker Luke Liberty started the scoring off with a field goal to put the T-Cats up 3-0. Thundercats QB Justin Mc Kenzie added to the lead with a 9 yard TD run followed up by a Liberty PAT to give the Thundercats a 10-0 lead. Runningback Bryan "Scooter" Walker capped the scoring with a 2 yard TD run to put the All-Americans away and following a Liberty PAT the final score was 17-0 in favor of the Thundercats.

In game 2 the Thundercats took on the New York Bandits and came away with a hard fought 7-0 victory over a very tough Bandits team. QB Justin Mc Kenzie found WR Travis Taylor on a 42 yard TD pass to put up the only score in a game that took place in very wet and cold conditions. The Bandits running game was strong but couldn't quite crack the stingy Thundercat defense and the game ended 7-0.

The Thundercats now sit at 3-0 overall with wins over the Sussex Thunder in England and the two wins in San Diego tournament. The Thundercats have also in their tours had players from the USA, Mexico, Panama, Austria, Slovenia, Denmark, England, and New Zealand play for the Thundercats.
